AMBER ALERT CANCELED: 20-month-old boy and mother found safe in Ohio

A toddler and his mother involved in an Amber Alert Thursday, May 8, have been located by authorities.

CBS affiliate WHIO in Dayton, OH reports that Monroe Police have confirmed 20-month-old Nolan Myers and his mother Melissa have been found safe. They were located at the Best Western Monroe Inn off of Ohio-63 after their vehicle was spotted in the parking lot.

An Amber Alert has been issued across Ohio and Kentucky after a 20-month-old boy was taken by his mother in Ohio.

Nolan Myers was taken around 8 p.m. Wednesday from a home in Centerville, Ohio, north of Cincinnati.  His mother, Melissa C. Myers is 35, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and has blond hair and blue eyes.

According to CBS affiliate, WHIO, their location is not known, but they are believed to be traveling in lime green 2013 Ford Fiesta, Ohio license tag FWJ 2295.  At about 11:10 p.m., the Ohio Highway Patrol issued information about the vehicle, noting the last known location was the Lebanon area.

The woman has called police in Dayton and in Centerville, threatening to jump off a bridge and drown herself and her child.  Police have been trying to locate her by pinging her cell phone, but have not been able to locate her.
