SAINT ALBANS, WV -

The manager of a 7-11 on Main Street in Saint Albans, WV told police that he was forced to drive to a secluded area on Strawberry Road and then was robbed of the store’s bank deposit.

The manager told police a man was waiting in his back seat when he left the store at about 9 a.m. to make a bank deposit, according to a release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect forced the manager to drive to on Coal River Road to Strawberry Road at knifepoint. The manager then claims the man punched him in the face and took the deposit.

The only description of the suspect is that he was wearing a black and green ski mask.
