CHARLESTON, WV - A man was arrested Saturday morning for robbing a Go-Mart in Huntington, WV.

According to a news release issued by the Huntington Police Department, 32-year-old Marcellus Dwain Williams of Cleveland, OH was arrested and charged with first degree robbery.

The robbery happened shortly after 6:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at 10th Street W. and Washington Avenue.  Williams went into the Go-Mart armed with a handgun and demanded money from a cash register.  Williams fled the scene with a small amount of cash.

The news release says police initiated a search with a canine, which led them to Adams Landing Apartments, at the 800 block of Virginia Avenue, where they located Williams and arrested him without incident.

The money Williams stole was located, however, police are still looking for the weapon Williams had when robbing Go-Mart.

No one was injured in this incident.

Williams was taken to the Western Regional Jail.
