Two arrested for stealing a vehicle and $24,000 worth of tools in Parkersburg, WV

Two men were arrested for stealing a truck and $24,000 worth of tools from a business in Parkersburg, WV, in Wood County.

According to troopers with the Logan County Detachment of the West Virginia State Police, 30-year-old James E. Hutchinson and 41-year-old Obie R. Cheuvront were arrested Saturday, May 17, and were both charged with receiving and transferring stolen property. Hutchinson was also charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. 

Troopers say this occurred at JD's Collision and Restoration, at 2608 Dudley Avenue, on Sunday, May 11, which was Mother's Day.

After conducting an investigation, troopers located Hutchinson and Cheuvront on U.S. Route 10/Old Logan Road in Logan County on Saturday.  

Both were taken to the Southwestern Regional Jail.
