    A man was shot in the hand during a robbery on Charleston's east end on July 22 at about 10:30 a.m.

Firefighters from Henlawson and Lake Fire Departments responded to an early morning accident on Mill Creek Road on Sunday. May 18. According to a news release, a late model pick up truck hit a residence as well as two power poles at 2:40 a.m. along Mill Creek Road. Power in the area was knocked out for several hours.

The home was occupied at the time of the accident. But none of the occupants were hurt. The unidentified driver of the truck was taken to the hospital for treatment.

His condition is not known at this time, according to the same news release.There is no additional information at this time and the investigation is continuing.
