Man Transported to United Hospital Center After Tractor Trailer Accident on I-79

    A tractor trailer is blocking part of Route 2. The road is closed until further notice. Drivers heading in both direction are being asked to use the Big Ben Bowen Highway connector by Target to get around.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department is investigating a two vehicle crash involving a pick-up truck and tractor trailer on Interstate 79 Southbound in Harrison County.

It happened just after 7 p.m. Tuesday.  Deputies said the the male driver of the pick-up truck drove into the back of the tractor trailer.  The driver of the truck was transported to United Hospital Center, with unknown injuries.  The driver of the tractor trailer refused transport.  

Lost Creek and Stonewood's Fire Departments, Anmoore EMS, and Harrison County Sheriff's Department all responded.
