Westover Mayor Dave Johnson won his bid for re-election Tuesday night, despite being indicted for election fraud. Johnson won his bid for re-election with 249 votes, defeating write-in candidate Louise Michael and her 162 votes.

Johnson was indicted for election fraud in May, if convicted of election fraud, he will legally not be able to hold office. City officials said that if that happens, they will appoint a new mayor. That person will hold office until the next election in 2016.
