CHARLESTON, WV - An altercation at a business on Charleston's West Side leads to one man's arrest.

It happened Wednesday afternoon at Nate Dogg Cellular, near the corner of Tennessee and Lee Streets.

Police say an argument between employee Nathan Matthew Evert and a customer escalated.

According to police, Evert grabbed a crow bar and acted like he was going to hit the customer, in which the customer then pulled out a concealed handgun.

When police showed up, they arrested Evert for four counts of battery and one count of brandishing a weapon.  He was taken to the South Central Regional Jail, where his bond was set at $1,000.

Police say the customer will not be charged since he had a valid permit to carry a concealed firearm and only took out his weapon in self defense.
