-- Camber primes three of the seven functional areas --
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., June 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Camber Corporation announces today that it was awarded prime positions in all three of the pools in which it submitted proposals under the General Services Administration's (GSA) One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) professional services contract. GSA made 225 awards to 74 contractors across the seven pools of the multiple-award contract. The period of performance is from the date of the Notice-To-Proceed through five years thereafter, with one five-year option that may extend the cumulative term of the contract to 10 years.
"The GSA OASIS vehicle is a vital component of our ability to support the full range of requirements our customers have in successfully accomplishing their missions," said Walter Batson, CEO of Camber Corporation.
Through OASIS, agencies can buy professional services such as management and consulting, engineering, logistics and financial services. Camber will have the opportunity to prime task orders requiring engineering services, management consulting, testing, logistics, biotechnology, and research and development in physical, engineering, and life sciences; all of which are Camber capabilities, critical to Camber's core customers and the cornerstone of its growth.
"For the past 24 years, Camber has provided a wide range of complex, professional services solutions from technology integration and deployment to lifecycle sustainment to integrated training solutions and modeling and simulation support. GSA OASIS gives us a new platform to provide integrated professional services and quickly respond to customer requirements in the same way we are able to provide integrated IT solutions through vehicles such as GSA Alliant," stated John Lord, President of Camber Corporation.
OASIS was designed to address agencies' need for a full range of service requirements that integrate multiple professional service disciplines and ancillary services/products with the flexibility for all contract types and pricing at the task order level.
