Police investigating home invasion in Charleston, WV

CHARLESTON, WV -

The Charleston Police Department are investigating a home invasion that occurred in Charleston, WV.

According to 911 dispatchers, the call came in shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at the 3100 block of 4th Avenue.

According to police, two people barged into a residence while the homeowner was there.  They told the man they had a gun, and covered his head and zip tied his hands together, stole his medication, and fled the scene.

The man was able to free himself and called the police.

Information on the suspects are not yet known.

The investigation is ongoing.
