Home and office chair company announces new logo in addition to unveiling their new website this month. SitBetter hopes to educate consumers about how a better, more ergonomic chair could help relieve back problems.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 03, 2014

After eight years in business, San Diego-based chair company SitBetter is revealing their new corporate logo, which will correspond with their company re-branding and a revamped website -- also announced this month.

Back pain is one of the most common work-related injuries and is often caused by just sitting in an office chair. SitBetter plans to relaunch their website to make customers more aware that high quality chairs can be beneficial. The new logo has a cleaner, sleeker look with a clever play on the letter "t," which looks like a person sitting.

The entire SitBetter company supports the new logo and the new and improved website. "The 'sitting t,' along with the name of the company itself, clearly announces what we specialize in," said eCommerce Director Rex Kelly.

Without proper office chair ergonomics, sitting in an office chair for long periods of time may lead to neck pain, muscle tension, and leg pain -- issues that SitBetter is determined to solve. The site rebranding and logo represents what the company sells: chairs that help people sit more comfortably.

Right now, Americans spent an estimated $50 billion treating back pain every year, and a simple fix can be the purchase of a more ergonomic chair. According to the National Institute of Health, adjustable height and width are essential when purchasing a chair with armrests to make the chair more catered towards an individual's body type.

According to the company, initial customer reaction to the appearance of the site and the logo has been positive. While the "sitting t" is largely subliminal, most viewers are able to see it and understand the message it conveys.

"The new logo represents our brand identity very well. The 'sitting t' is a clever visual that boldly, yet subliminally, announces what we do: Help people sit better," said Kelly.
