Several accelerators will give demo style pitch presentations and attendees will also have the opportunity to interact with an SBA representative about the Accelerator Fund Contest and network with fellow Accelerators and new enterprises which could be fundamental to their businesses.

To award the prizes for the Accelerator Fund Contest, an expert panel of judges will consider each applicant's stated mission, founding team members and business goals among other core components. The deadline for applying is August 2, 2014.

All accelerators and incubators are encouraged to apply. Accelerators which are run by and support women or other underrepresented groups or are focused on manufacturing will receive some extra consideration.

For the purposes of this competition, Growth Accelerators include accelerators, incubators, co-working startup communities, shared tinker-spaces or other models to accomplish similar goals.
