A man has been arrested in connection to a string of burglaries in Scioto County, Ohio.

Brison J. Shupert, 27, has been charged with two counts of aggravated burglary, according to a release from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.

According to Detective Denver Triggs with the Scioto County Sheriff's Office, Shupert, who was a suspect in this case and was suspected of using drugs, was arrested by probation officers at his home in West Porstmouth, OH Tuesday evening of July 15.

Deputies say they recovered thousands of dollars worth of stolen property including guns, computers, video game systems and jewelry. The discovery of the some of the property led police to believe Shupert was a suspect. Police are still searching for a large amount of missing property.

Detective Triggs believes all of this started in June of this year in which Shupert burglarized several homes, stole these items, and posted them onto local trading sales websites.
