UPDATE: Man arrested after stabbing his twin brother in St. Albans, WV

Christopher Lake has been arrested.  He is being held in the South Central Regional Jail on $10,000 bond.

Lake is accused of stabbing his twin brother, Alexander Lake, Saturday morning. Sheriff's deputies say Alexander intervened when Christopher started arguing with their mother.


According to a news release issued by the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 100 block of James Street, off of Coal River Road, in St. Albans Saturday morning.  This was in regards to a call in which a man sliced the abdomen of his twin brother.

The news release says that 23-year-old Christopher Lake was reportedly arguing with his mother at around 4 a.m. Saturday, when his twin brother Alexander intervened.  Christopher reportedly sliced Alexander's abdomen, causing serious injury to him.  He is in a hospital, where is listed as being in critical condition.

Christopher fled the scene before deputies arrived.  He is described as white, 5'8, 150 lbs., with light brown hair and brown eyes, and is wanted for malicious wounding.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office are investigating a stabbing along the 100 block of James Street in St. Albans, West Virginia.

According to dispatchers the call was reported just after 4 a.m. Saturday, August 9.

One person has been confirmed injured. The extent of those injuries are not known at this time.
