Could too much exposure to electronic devices be problematic for kids?

Though technology has many educational benefits, some doctors say these screens shouldn't be the primary source of entertainment for kids.

"Lots of times on a tablet they're just so focused on that, that they don't really want to react with anyone else," says Stephanie Majetich a child therapist in Charleston, West Virginia.

Majetich also says that sleep patterns can be affected if a child watches to much television before bed or if they fall asleep with the television on.

She says instead of spending so much time on the computer and in front of the television, kids could go to the grocery store or call a friend and have them come over and play.

These are just a few things to help keep your kids focused this school year.
