Mountain Mission in Charleston, WV running low on food donations

Posted: Updated:
CHARLESTON, Wv. -

The shelves in the food pantry at the Mountain Mission in Charleston, West Virginia are bare.

The mission put out a plea for donations this week.

Many of the food box staples are gone. They are low on things like corn, green beans, canned meat and macaroni and cheese.

Donations have not come in to replenish the supplies.

Mission leaders have had to dip into other emergency funding to buy food to stock the pantry.

Donors can drop-off your food donation at the West Side or our North Charleston locations of the Mountain Mission between 8:30 am. and 5:00 p.m. Throughout the week. For more information you may call 304-344-3407.
