Fire prompts evacuation at Hurricane Walmart


A small fire was reported at the Walmart in Hurricane early Friday morning.  According to an employee, the fire broke out along the meat wall.  Putnam County Dispatchers say the fire broke out at 8:25 a.m. Several crews responded including Hurricane Fire Department, Teays Valley Volunteer Fire Department and the Culloden Volunteer Fire Department. The Walmart employee informed 13 News the store is now reopening to customers.
