Sue Bob White arrested for shoplifting and drug charges in Kentucky


Warfield, KY – “Sue Bob” White has been arrested for shoplifting and drug charges in Martin County, Kentucky.

According to a uniform citation from the Martin County Sheriff’s Department, a call was received from dispatch reporting a shoplifter at the Warfield IGA on July 19, 2016. The arrest was made just before 9 p.m.

The uniform citation states that Sue A. White had stolen pet ear cleaner and a pest control item. The total amount of the theft amounted to $10.08.

Upon arrest of White, responding officers conducted a search and found the following:

7 pill containers belonging to James S. White

One pill container had 3 different types of  pills inside including Diazepam, Hydrocodone, and Alprazolam

Another container with 22 Diazepam, 12 Alprazolam, 2 Clonazepam, 1/2 of an unknown pill, and 2 snorters

5 other bottles with prescriptions belonging to James S. White of Prilosec, Ibuprofen, Lipitor, Toprol, Zestril, and Neurontin

The reported stolen items from the IGA were also found inside of White’s purse.

Sue A. White AKA “Sue Bob” has been charged with Shoplifiting, Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug, Prescription of a Controlled Substance Not Properly Contained-1st Offense, and Drug Paraphernalia.

White is currently being held in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Their website also states that a warrant is being served on White for another police agency.
