Katie is excited to begin her career as a reporter at WOWK 13 News!
Another proud Penn State alumni joins the team, (WE ARE!) Katie graduated from Penn State University in May of 2021 with a degree in Journalism, two minors in Spanish and Global and International Studies, and a certificate in Sports Journalism.
During her time there, she interned with the award-winning newscast the Centre County Report where she told the stories of central Pennsylvania. She was also a host for the 46 LIVE THON Broadcast and an anchor and reporter for Penn State Network Television.
Originally from York, Pennsylvania, Katie is thrilled to call the Mountain State her new home. Katie studied abroad for a semester in Barcelona, Spain, and she enjoys traveling. She loves nature, spending time with family, and playing with her dog Max. She can’t wait to explore the wild and wonderful West Virginia!
