Lane Ball is excited for the opportunity to bring your stories to life as a Reporter for WOWK 13 News. He was born and raised locally in a small city of Greenup, Kentucky and loves the “small-town” feeling. He graduated with an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences Electronic Media from Ohio University where he was also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success Sigma Alpha Pi chapter.
This is Lane’s first job in broadcast news and he loves every minute of it. Formerly, he has worked with ESPN through the ESPN-U college program at Ohio University in Athens where he first realized his passion for TV broadcasting.
For fun, Lane enjoys kayaking, playing basketball, and being active outdoors.
He enjoys meeting new people and traveling to new places across the tristate!
