Larisa comes to WOWK-TV from Bozeman, Montana where she covered everything from the city’s booming growth, Montana’s missing and murdered indigenous women crisis, their dying coal industry and state and local politics.
She’s happy to be in the Mountain State where she can further her love affair with the mountains.
Larisa is a San Diego native who attended UCSD and grew up bilingual and binational with family on both sides of the U.S.-Mexican border.
After graduating from the Columbia School of Journalism she completed a year-long fellowship at Telemundo Network in Miami during the 2016 Presidential Election.
When not working you can find her shopping at consignment and vintage stores, trying out new recipes, hanging out with her beloved rescue kitty, and exploring her ever-changing surroundings.
