Hi everyone! Thanks for taking the time to check out my bio to see what I’m all about! I was born in Connecticut but raised in Lima, Peru until I was 11 years old. Shortly after I turned 11, my parents, my little sister, and I moved to my dad’s hometown of Ironton, Ohio. There, I attended and graduated from Saint Joseph High School (Go Flyers!).
It was in college that I discovered my passion for broadcast journalism thanks to Nicole Kraft, Bryant Somerville, and Bethany Barker, so a GIANT shout out to them! I graduated from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) and reported for the student-run news station, The Lantern TV. My reporting career began at the ABC affiliate in South Bend, Indiana, but I’m super excited to be back home to report on the stories that impact our community!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my little sister, who is definitely my mini-me. She is my pride and joy! I also enjoy spending time with the rest of my family and friends. When I’m not in the newsroom, you can probably catch me binge-watching stand-up comedy specials.
If you ever see me in public, please feel free to come up to me and chat. I absolutely love meeting the viewers I work for! You can also keep up with me on Twitter and Facebook… and if you have a story idea, don’t hesitate to share it with me by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
