2 Philadelphia men arrested in West Virginia with $130K in drugs and cash

STAR CITY, WV (WBOY) - Two Philadelphia men were arrested in Star City with more than $130,000 in drugs and cash.

Anthony Lockhart, III, 26, and Tauheed Holt, 25, were taken into custody by the Mon Metro Drug Task Force at approximately 6 a.m. Thursday, according to a press release.

The task force executed a search warrant on Center Hill Avenue in Star City and found Lockhart and Holt. The duo was in possession of 206 grams of heroin, which is valued at approximately $41,200, and 790 grams of methamphetamine, which is valued at approximately $79,800, according to the task force.

Approximately $13,975 in cash was also found in the residence, the task force said.

Lockhart and Holt are each charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver heroin, one count of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and one count of conspiracy.

The Mon Metro Drug Task Force includes members from the Star City Police Department, the Morgantown Police Department, the Granville Police Department, the West Virginia University Police Department, the Monongalia County Sheriff's Office, West Virginia State Police, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
