Boone County Woman Arrested on Meth Charges

LEWISBURG, WV (WVNS) - A suspicious vehicle complaint leads cops to a drug arrest in Greenbrier County.

Lewisburg Police responded to reports that a woman had been living out of her car, and was stealing gas from other vehicles.

Officers said when they arrived to investigate, they found a crystal-like substance in a plastic bag sitting in plain view inside of Elestine Workman's car.

That substance tested positive for methamphetamine.

Officers arrested Workman, of Boone county, for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Obstructing an Officer.

Workman was arraigned before a Greenbrier County Magistrate and released after posting a $1,500 bond.
