Kanawha County Guidance Counselor Arrested for Drug Possession & DUI

NITRO, WV (WOWK) - A guidance counselor at a Kanawha County school has been arrested for drug possession and driving under the influence.

According to the Nitro Police Department, Matthew Anderson, 42, of South Charleston was arrested for possession with intent to deliver meth and Driving under the influence.

Police say that Anderson was arrested following a traffic stop in Nitro, WV.

Anderson is a guidance counselor for East Bank Middle School.

He is being held at South Central Regional Jail on a $10,000 bond.
