Man Arrested After Shooting in Boone County

A man has been arrested after a shooting in Boone County, West Virginia this afternoon.

According to Boone County dispatchers, there was a shooting at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 30th, 2018 at a house near Low Gap Road, just outside of Danville.

One man was injured and transported to a hospital.

A different man has been arrested and is in custody after fleeing the scene.

Boone County Sheriff’s Department and West Virginia State Police responded to the call.
