A man is under arrest accused of stealing medical equipment worth thousands of dollars from a medical center.
According to the Ashland Police Department, the patrol division received a report Saturday of the theft of several thousand dollars worth of medical equipment from King’s Daughters Medical Center.
After investigating, James Whitmore was identified as the suspect and was located.
Whitmore was found to be in possession of 3.6 grams of methamphetamine.
Whitman is charged with possession of a controlled substance (1st degree) and theft by unlawful taking from a building ($500 or more but under $10,000).
