Person holds burglary suspect at gunpoint in Clendenin, WV until authorities arrive

CLENDENIN, WV (WOWK) - A relative of a homeowner in Clendenin, West Virginia held two burglary suspects at gunpoint until deputies with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office arrived on scene.

It happened in the 4600 block of Spencer Road in Clendenin Tuesday morning.

The home has been abandoned since falling victim to the devastating floods in June of 2016, deputies said.

Dusty A. Jones, 30 of Cabin Creek, is charged with breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.

Kayla Gibson, 25 of Charleston, was arrested at the scene on previous warrants

They were transported to the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office for booking.
