UPDATE: Man Wanted for Clay County Murder Arrested in Alabama

UPDATE (5/26/18 3:00 PM)

On Thursday members of the Birmingham Police Department arrested Joshua Robertson without incident. Robertson has been transported to a holding facility in Jefferson County to await extradition procedures. 

UPDATE (5/11/18 3:00 PM):

West Virginia State Police have identified both the victim and the person of interest, who they say is the victim’s son, in a homicide in Clay County.

Troopers say Milton Robertson, 67, was found in a home near Walback.

Robertson’s son, Joshua Robertson, 44 is a person of interest in the case.

State Police say Milton Robertson was shot and stabbed multiple times and had been dead for several weeks when he was found.

Joshua is believed to be driving a brown or tan Hyundai Santa Fe with WV tags 9VS-728.

 Anybody with knowledge of his whereabouts encouraged to call Clay State Police detachment at 304-286-3185.
