West Virginia man on the run, wanted for injuring 2 deputies

A man wanted for injuring two Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies was caught in Princeton, Friday, April 5.

According to Chief Deputy Joe Parks, Mercer County Deputies caught Dallas Conley following a high-speed chase through parts of Virginia and West Virginia. No one was injured in the pursuit.

Parks also told 59News Conley is facing several felony charges from the pursuit, along with charges stemming from the incident on Wednesday, April 3.

A Bluewell man accused of injuring two deputies with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department is on the run. 

Deputies said they were serving a domestic violence warrant on 27-year-old Dallas Wayne Conley at a home on Poetown Road around 2 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2019 when Conley allegedly became belligerent. Chief Deputy Joe Parks said Conley injured two deputies. They are expected to be okay. 

Officers said Conley was also on parole out of Tazewell County for malicious wounding. Deputies do not have an leads on his location at this time.
