Putnam County Schools hope to keep students engaged during the summer months.

Mountain View Elementary School will host a S.T.E.A.M. Camp this summer from June 13th-15th. S.T.E.A.M. Camp is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math for students entering grades one through five.

Each day will have hands-on activities where students have the chance to apply their math science and writing skills to real-world challenges, while incorporating technology and their love for art.

Putnam County Schools hope to spark those engineering interests and introduce the design process and how to bring students creative ideas to life.

Camp is divided into two sessions. Grades 1-3 will be from 9 AM to 12 PM. Grades 4-5 will be from 1 PM to 4 PM.
