4 Injured, 1 in Critical Condition Following Crash in Clay County

CLAY COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – Four people were transported to the hospital after a crash.

According to the Clay Volunteer Fire Department, the wreck involved a single vehicle at the intersection of Route 36 and Morgan Carr Road about a mile north of the Carol’s Crossroads restaurant at around 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The Clay Volunteer Fire Department reports that four people were transported to the hospital as a result of the crash.

One of the victims is in critical condition.

No other details are available on the crash at this time.

The Clay Volunteer Fire Department, West Virginia State Police, Clay and Lizemore medics, and King’s Wrecker responded to the scene.
