Officers with the Logan Police Department are actively searching for Sean DeWayne Ballard, 6, of Logan County.

Officers say just before 11 p.m. on Monday, February 5, officers attempted to stop a truck for a traffic violation. That truck fled to the Peach Creek area.

The truck was found on a dirt road, according to officers. A passenger inside was apprehended. That passenger told officers that Patrick Sean Ballard was driving the vehicle. Ballard, according to the passenger, fled on foot with his son, the 6-year-old boy.

Neither Ballard nor his son have been located.

The child is approximately 45 inches tall and weighs 50 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He is missing his top two front teeth.

If you have any information in the case, you’re asked to call 911 immediately.
