HUNTINGTON, WV (WOWK) – The Transportation Security Administration stopped a Kentucky man at the Huntington Tri-State Airport checkpoint with a loaded gun in his carry-on earlier this week.
TSA officers say that on Monday, June 11th they stopped a Johnson County, Kentucky man at the airport checkpoint. He had a .380 caliber gun that was loaded with six bullets. TSA contacted airport police who then confiscated the gun.
The Van Lear, Kentucky, resident told officials he forgot that he had the loaded gun with him.
