2 Homes Damaged in Huntington Fire

Local News

HUNTINGTON, WV (WOWK) – Huntington firefighters battled an abandoned structure fire this morning on Rutland Avenue.

The house was smoking and flames were visible when firefighters arrived, but the flames were put out quickly.

A neighboring house suffered some melted siding.

Since the structure is abandoned the fire is suspicious in nature.

The Huntington Police Department will be investigating.

No injuries were reported.
