One dead in early morning Kanawha County shooting, another wounded

UPDATE: 8:12 A.M.: According to Kanawha County Sheriff Mike Rutherford, deputies arrested David Tylar Rogers, 23, of Charleston, and charged him with two counts of wanton endangerment.

Caleb Marcum, 19, Red House, died as a result of his injuries. Brent Jenkins, 23, of Scott Depot, was also shot and is still hospitalized.

The case is still under investigation.

UPDATE: 4:38 A.M.: Officials have confirmed one of the victims have died of their injuries.

CROSS LANES, WV (WOWK) – Two people have been wounded in a shooting overnight.

The shooting happened at the Sheetz on Lakeview drive in Cross Lanes just after 2 a.m.

Metro dispatchers confirm two people were wounded – including one who was unresponsive.
