LINCOLN COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – An Appalachian Power driver has died after his vehicle slipped from a private driveway, rolled down an embankment, and landed on the roadway below.
West Virginia State Police say the accident happened at around 9:30 AM on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019.
It happened on the West Virginia State Route 10 in the Harts, WV area.
During the course of the investigation, troopers determined that while performing job-related duties, the driver’s company vehicle slipped from a private driveway, rolled down an embankment, and landed on the roadway.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
