Deputies Find 15-Year-Old Sissonville Girl Safe

Kanawha County Deputies say 15-year-old Haley Means was safely located in Charleston.


Kanawha County Deputies are searching for a 15-year-old Sissonville girl who was last seen on New Year’s Eve.

Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says that Haley Means, 15, was reported missing on the afternoon of January 1st, 2019.

Deputies say Means is 5’7” tall, weighs 160 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with white writing and black jeans.  She normally wears silver rings on her hands and is believed to be carrying a backpack. 

Means was last seen by her mother at her house on Rich Fork Road in Sissonville on December 31st, 2018, at around 9 PM.

Deputies say she has run away several times before, but her family is nonetheless very concerned about her well-being. Means has friends along Chandler Drive in Charleston.
