SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WOWK) – Sobriety check points are becoming a more frequent sight as the Labor Day holiday rolls around.

Rather than just patrolling, police are making sure roads are clear of any alcohol related crashes.

“Checkpoint are important before Labor Day because that is the most popular holidays to drink and it’s the end of summer”, says South Charleston Police Justin Bailes.
