Fight breaks out at Charleston concert

Local News

According to the Charleston Police Department, a fight broke out Saturday night during the Sada Baby concert at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center.

The fight occurred around midnight when around 60 to 100 people were on stage. Off-duty officers were working the event and called for backup. Charleston Police say no one, including no officers were injured during the fight and the crowd quickly dispersed. No one was arrested.

CPD says a few minutes after the crowd left, two reports of shots fired came in. One call was near the Marriott Hotel and another was close to the Civic Center. CPD found no shell casings and no one was shot but they believe the reports could be related to the fight.
