Huntington Woman Arrested for Trying to Sell Fentanyl with Kid in Car

KENOVA, WV (WOWK) – A Huntington woman has been arrested for trying to sell fentanyl-laced heroin and crystal meth with a 9-year-old child in her car, according to Kenova Police.

Cayla Watts, of Huntington, has been charged with possession with intent and delivery of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl-laced heroin, conspiracy, and child neglect creating risk of injury.

On Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019, officers say they approached the vehicle and arrested Watts as well as three others. 

Police report finding a 9-year-old child in the back seat of Watt’s car during the drug deal. 

Officers found approximately $2,000 worth of fentanyl-laced heroin and crystal meth.

This investigation is still ongoing with multiple pending arrests.
