Kanawha-Charleston Health Department closes temporarily after car hits gas meter

CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK)—According to a release from the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department, the building was closed temporarily around 11:00 a.m. due to an incident involving a gas line.

Metro 911 said that a car hit a gas meter outside the building and that there were no injuries.

The building was closed for about 15 minutes, and it is now back open.
