Kanawha County Deputies find missing woman

UPDATE: The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says Cathleen Moore has been safely located on Thursday, May 9th, 2019.


The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing woman.

Deputies say Cathleen Moore, 29, has been missing for about two weeks now according to her family and was reported missing on Tuesday, May 7th, 2019. She is a 5’4″ tall, approximately 140 pounds, white woman with long brown hair, and green eyes. She goes by the nickname of Cat.

Moore is known to frequent houses on Stover Road and surrounding areas near Dunbar, WV.

If you have had contact with her in the last two weeks, have heard of her being seen, or know her current whereabouts please contact the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office.
