Kenova Police Search for Suspect Responsible for Mutilated Dog

KENOVA, WV (WOWK) The Kenova Police Department is asking for the public’s help after two dogs were stolen from a home on the 1800 block of Sycamore Street in Kenova.

In a Facebook post, they said the 15-month-old Boxer siblings, Onyx and Jasper, were reportedly taken on Friday, March 22nd.

Around 11 pm on Tuesday, March 26th, police say someone dropped Jasper back off at the home and drove off. Jasper had several injuries including an amputated back paw. He was taken to the Animal ER in Ceredo where he is being treated. Onyx is still missing at this time.
