Man Killed After ATV and Train Collide in Lincoln County

Police say a passenger on a recreational off-road vehicle has died after it collided with a train.

The incident took place at a railroad crossing in Ranger in Lincoln County.

State police say in a news release 69-year-old Ralph Edward Baker of Ranger was killed when the Polaris RZR he was riding on collided with the CSX train.

The driver has been taken to a Huntington hospital. His condition wasn’t immediately known.

An ATV and a train have collided in Lincoln County.

According to State Police, the incident occurred in the VanAtter Creek area in Ranger in Lincoln County.

There is no word on injuries at this time, but troopers remain at the scene investigating.
