The Huntington Police Department is seeking help finding a Huntington man wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred this afternoon.
The shooting took place on the 1800 block of 10th Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers have obtained four felony warrants on Jaquez Monte White, 24. The charges include strangulation, two counts of wanton endangerment and malicious wounding.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance between a man and a woman earlier today in the 1800 block of 10th Avenue.
Witnesses in the area tried to assist the woman involved in the disturbance and were successful in separating the couple. The woman left the area and the man fled on foot but returned a short time later.
The man pulled out a handgun when he returned and fired several rounds in front of the house where the domestic disturbance occurred.
One person was struck and suffered non life-threatening injuries.

The Huntington Police Department is searching for a suspect after someone was injured in a shooting this afternoon.
Police received a call about shots fired on 1800 block of 10th Avenue at around 3:30 PM on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019.
Huntington Police Chief Hank Dial says one person was shot, and they were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are currently looking for a suspect.
Spring Hill Elementary was on lockdown briefly as a precaution, But Chief Dial says “at no point was anyone at the school in any danger.”
