‘Team Up to Clean Up’ events planned throughout Charleston during April

According to city officials, Charleston is hosting a major, month-long, city-wide cleanup.

Each Saturday, starting April 6 and lasting through April 27, Charleston is hosting ‘Team Up to Clean Up’ in a different region of the city.

Bulk item pick-up will take place the Monday following each cleanup for each respective region.

April 6: East End

     Meet Up: 631 Morris Street  / April 8: Bulk Item Pick Up 

April 13: Kanawha City

     Meet Up:  3601 MacCorkle Ave SE  / April 15: Bulk Item Pick Up

April 20: West Side/North Charleston

     Meet Up: 1291 West Washington Street  / April 22: Bulk Item Pick Up 

April 27: South Hills

     Meet Up: 36 Norwood Road  /  April 29: Bulk Item Pick Up

There are two shifts (8-12 &1-5) for every Saturday cleanup. 

All materials needed to participate will be provided.

The focus will mostly be on litter pick up, landscaping and beautification projects, but the city is open to additional project ideas.
