UPDATE (9:20 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25): The name of the third man arrested in connection to the murder of Kane Roush has been released.

The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office says Richard K. Walker, Jr., 20 of South Charleston, WV, was arrested earlier today after the Major Crimes Task Force obtained an arrest warrant.

Walker is being charged with first-degree murder and is in West Virginia waiting to be extradited back to Ohio, according to deputies.

MEIGS COUNTY, OH (WOWK) — Sheriff Keith Wood tells 13 News that another arrest has been made in connection to the shooting death of Kane Roush.

Roush was killed early Easter Sunday morning in 2021.

Right now, Sheriff Wood confirms a third arrest has been made.

Two other men from Charleston were charged in connection to Roush’s murder. One of them is expected to be in court tomorrow.
