Three Fire Departments Battle Clendenin Blaze

UPDATE: 12/30/18 @ 4:45 p.m.

A house fire has left a home in ruins.

The fire was reported just before 2 p.m. on Valley Street off of Spencer Road across from Mountaineer Auctions Sunday afternoon in northeastern Kanawha County.

According to our crew at the scene, no injuries were reported. Family members believe the fire may have began at their hot water tank.

Two dogs ran away from the fire. They are both white terriers, one of which has brown spots and the other grey/black. The brown spotted dog is named Sassy and the other is named Patches.

Fire crews from the Clendenin Volunteer Fire Department, Pinch Volunteer Fire Department, and Frame Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.

The fire was reported just before 2 p.m. on Valley Street off of Spencer Road across from Mountaineer Auctions Sunday afternoon in northeastern Kanawha County.

Fire crews from the Clendenin Volunteer Fire Department, Pinch Volunteer Fire Department, and Frame Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.

At this time, the extent of damage to the building or status of any injury are unknown.
