Tree Blocks US-10 in Logan County

Approximately 1,000 AEP customers are without power after a tree came down on Route 10 in Logan County Saturday.

The outage was reported around 11:30 a.m. and affects customers along US-10 in Logan County between Mitchell Heights and Aracoma near Chief Logan State Park just north of Logan.

A tree came down onto Route 10, blocking both lanes and snapping lines in the process.

AEP says it will be around 6:30 p.m. Saturday when electric is restored.

No injuries were reported as a result of the lines coming down.
